In Numenera we imagine what our planet looks like a billion years into the future. In that incomprehensible stretch of time eight previous civilizations came and left Earth. They left technology behind so advanced that it becomes inseparable from magic. These "Numenera" are artifacts that are scattered all over the landscape (or are the landscape). And you are seekers, experimenters, and adventurers in this vibrant and enigmatic Ninth World.

Characters are pre-made with details being fleshed out by you, before we jump into this exploration-focused science-fantasy setting in the far, far, future. New players to Numenera or TTRPG in general are welcome.

Through the use of a 32 card deck players will move their fighters around the board in an attempt to strike down the opposing warband, score objectives, execute ploys and upgrade their fighters to dizzying new heights.
